Aeropress: Coffee A-Z

The AeroPress is an unconventional coffee maker that is gaining popularity among those with busy lifestyles or those who enjoy the outdoors. This innovative device was invented by Alan Adler, who also created the Aerobie Frisbee. Its syringe-like chamber combines ground coffee and water, which is then manually pressed to extract the brewed coffee through a filter. This unique separation of the grounds and the brew allows for different brew strengths and makes the AeroPress a versatile and efficient coffee maker.

Whether you prefer a full cup or a concentrated coffee that can be tailored to your liking, the AeroPress can deliver. It utilizes a piston-style system that extracts coffee through a fine paper filter, producing a single serving of coffee. One of its most significant advantages is the pure and distinct flavor it delivers. The paper filter effectively prevents any oil and sediment from entering the cup, resulting in a clean taste that can be customized to your liking. Additionally, the AeroPress allows for easy adjustment of grind size, dosage, and pressure to ensure a perfect brew every time.

It's worth noting that the World AeroPress Championship, which attracts over 4,500 competitors from 50 countries, is held in Australia.
